Setting the Record Straight about Israel’s Economy

Israel is best known as the Holy Land, the Biblical land of Milk and Honey.  It is also known as a country that has struggled, over its first 63 years as a modern state, to make peace with its neighbors in the Middle East.  With all the negative information in the popular media, the economic miracles occurring in Israel get lost and never capture the public’s attention.

To overcome this negative perception and public ignorance about Israel’s economy, the American Israel Educational Institute Southeast, Inc. was formed in 1995 and was qualified under section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

As a non-profit educational organization, AIEI offers a variety of programs and services to educate the public about Israel’s economy and positive business relationships that the country has developed with the Southeastern United States.

The Institute sponsors educational forums and briefings throughout the Southeast featuring outstanding speakers from government, academia, and business who share their first hand knowledge about modern Israel’s thriving business sector.

We also maintain an extensive library of publications and online databases about Israel’s economy and companies and publish news about Southeast-Israel economic developments.

AIEI is managed under contract by the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce - SE Region and performs the educational functions necessary to support the cause of Israel’s economic independence.

Donations to support the Institute may be deducted as charitable contributions by individuals and foundations.  These may include gifts of stock.  It is suggested that you contact your tax advisor in this regard. For more information and to donate please call Barry Swartz at (404) 843-9426 Ext. 106.
